Matt started his actor and voice training at the University of Wollongong, graduating in 2004. Further training at NIDA, AFTRS, Metro Screen, Actors Centre Australia and Anthony Meindl’s Acting Workshop, including continuous vocal coaching with Linda Nicholls-Gidley, Dave Stein and Amy Hume has shaped Matt into the artistic force he is today. He has appeared on many of Sydney’s independent stages including The Old Fitz, The Seymour Centre and most recently returning to the New Theatre in their acclaimed production of ‘After the Dance’. In 2012, Matt produced and appeared in the successful web series ‘Death Star PR’ and has continued to consult on a number of Australian theatre and screen projects.

Since 2010, Matt has established himself as a leading voice actor in Sydney. He has lent his voice to some of Australia’s top networks, campaigns and agencies including Foxtel, Nova, Triple M, MTV, Channel 9, Network Ten, UberEats, Kathmandu, KIA, RSPCA and Kinder Surprise.

Matt is renowned for his warm, relaxed and personable reads, giving listeners the feeling that he is speaking directly to them like a close friend.
